Katie Holmes is set to make her Broadway debut later this in a revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons.
The actress will be joined on stage by Oscar winner Dianne Wiest and Tony winner John Lithgow.
Holmes' involvement was confirmed by the producers of the show.
Miller's All My Sons is based on the a true story about a successful businessman Larry Kellar who sold the government plane parts during World War II knowing they were faulty.
As it turns out, the deal has tragic consequences.
The play is scheduled to open on Broadway in the northern autumn, but a theatre and date have not yet been announced, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Holmes will play Kellar's son's love interest.
