If you loved Bhaabhi, Saarthi and Kumkum, then you're going to like Grahasti too.

Star Plus' new show, which kicks off February 25, is on the lines of the three successful shows.

Touted as a heart-rending family drama, Grahasti is the story of seven women belonging to the Khurana household and their journey as they cope with life after the loss of the only male member of the family.

The show will introduce three new faces -- Khushbu, Aarti Singh and Neha Desai. It will also star veteran actors, Kiran Kumar and Vaidehi Amrute.

Talking about his character, Kiran says "I am the only man in the family and have a lovely relationship with his family. My character Balraaj will end after 40 episodes but my character is equivalent to acting in 300-400 episodes."

Speaking on her comeback to television, Vaidehi says, "I took a break of five years because of health issues and marriage." Producers Sanjay Wadwa and Komal Wadwa were keen on casting her in Grahasti because of her long-term association with their production house Sphere Origin.

"But this show is about women; not a saas-bahu saga," she adds.

Incidentally, Aarti Singh is Govinda's niece, and sister to actor Krushna. She was earlier seen in Zee TV's Maayka.

Grahasti starts February 25, Monday to Friday at 2.30 pm on Star Plus.
