Sudeep says that Phoonk is essentially a Ram Gopal Varma film and he had just acted in it. "I wanted to work with Ramuji whom I respect a lot. It was a great experience to work with him in Mumbai. I am keeping my fingers crossed, but one thing, I am sure, the film will scare you."
Meanwhile, the actor is busy directing his third directorial venture, Veera Madakari. The unit will soon leave Bangalore for Badami and Pattadakal to shoot the second leg of the schedule.
Sudeep plays a double role besides directing, scripting and also crooning a song for the film. The heroine is yet to be finalised.
