Sasidharan Arattuvazhi passes awayNoted Malayalam script writer Sasidharan Arattuvazhi died at the Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, on January 22, following kidney failure. He was 45. He is survived by his wife Sudhakutty and two daughters. He had been undergoing treatment for kidney-related problems for the last four years. He passed away at the Medical College Hospital at 2100 hours, family sources said. Sasidharan penned about 20 scripts including those for hit movies like Yoddha, Kaliveedu, Kilukilpamparam, CID Unnikrishnan and Avittom Thirunal Arogysreeman. Son of Kalathil Arjunan Pillai, Sashidharan was born at Arattuvazhi in Alappuzha. He made his debut in the film world in Nettipattam in 1990, after a stint in the theatre. Apart from writing scripts, he also wrote 12 plays and was associated with television serials. A large number of fans and colleagues from the cine field paid their tribute to him the following day.
