Simran ties the knot

Tamil star Simran, who achieved stardom in South films after a short stint in the Hindi film industry, recently married Raju Sundaram, a sought-after choreographer and actor of Tamil and Telugu films, in Madras.

Simran's parents had initially objected to their daughter's marriage to the actor, but they finally reconciled themselves to her wishes.

Simran, the Aankh maare O ladka aankh maare girl, has among her recent hits, Vaalee opposite Tamil superstar Ajith.

Sundaram is dancer-choreographer-actor Prabhu Deva's brother and son of veteran choreogrpaher, M N Sundaram. He was seen in Roja and, more recently, in the Bombay Vikings' music video, Kya surat hai.
