Togetherness is Ash and Salman!

Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan seem to be on a lets-sign-films-together spree.

Their alleged love affair notwithstanding, the two have signed up for Bubby Kent's untitled film, which rolled before the cameras recently. It has Shilpa Shetty playing the female lead.

And though Ash has been finalised for the film, her name has not yet been announced.

This is now the third film that the two will be together in. The first was, of course, the runaway hit, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Next was K C Bokadia's Hum Aapke Hain Sanam in which Aishwarya Rai makes a very brief special appearance. Hum Aapke Hai Sanam stars Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Originally, Ash was supposed to play a blind girl in the film but the ex-Miss World requested the makers not to -- perhaps she worried about the fact that her lovely eyes would be hidden.

Interestingly, both films are being directed by is K S Atheyaman (of South). So, Atheyaman has been able to do twice what Mansoor Khan couldn't do once.

As is common knowledge, Salman Khan was originally cast in Josh, which ultimately went to Shah Rukh Khan.
