The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday released its manifesto for the Madhya Pradesh assembly polls, promising a responsive and accountable government to ensure development through private investment in sectors like power and roads.
The 44-page document, released by state BJP chief Kailash Joshi in Bhopal in the presence of senior party leaders Arun Jaitley and Uma Bharti, promises to provide opportunities for development to minorities.
Steps would be taken to provide drinking water to all, and to boost agriculture, industry and tourism, Bharti said.
Jaitley said the manifesto seeks a comprehensive law to impose a complete ban on cow slaughter.
