All polling booths in J&K valley declared sensitive

All the 3397 polling booths in the Kashmir valley are either 'hypersensitive' or 'sensitive' and none of them fall in the 'normal category', Inspector General of Police K Rajendra Kumar said.

While 1979 polling stations are 'hypersensitive', remaining 1418 polling stations fall in the category of sensitive, he said.

Giving the details of the security measures taken at these polling stations, he said 60,000 J&K state policemen and hundreds of companies of paramilitary forces would be deployed.
