Adam's the apple
Given his success on the field, Gilchrist must be a prime candidate for captaincy. But he has a different view about gunning for the job.
"Just as a wicket-keeper, captaincy is probably do-able," he said. "As a wicket-keeper-batsman, it's difficult. I've learnt a lot more. When I first got asked to captain in a Test match and a few one-dayers, I said, 'I'd love to have a go.' I've learnt from that that it's very difficult."
