CRICKET An Indian summer As many as six Indians -- Rahul Dravid, Mohammad Kaif, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Javagal Srinath -- signed up for the English county cricket this year. Srinath, who was on a temporary contract with Durham to provide cover for Australia's Martin Love, left the club in May while Harbhajan's finger injury forced him to opt out of his contract with Lancashire. Sehwag twirled his bat for Leicestershire, which has a large following of British Asians. Yuvraj was signed up by Yorkshire while Kaif made his debut for Derbyshire. Dravid nailed down a valuable contract to play for Scotland in just 11 one-day matches. This was his second county stint after having represented Kent in 2000. None of the Indians alas set the county circuit on fire. Text: Faisal Shariff Counties in for an Indian feast Yuvraj to play for Yorkshire Dravid signs for Scotland
