Email this report to a friend

Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha today expressed the view that shooting down of a Paksiani plane by the Indian Air Force was no cause for concern as far as the economy was concerned.

''Everything is stable. There is absolutely no cause for concern, it is an isolated incident and therefore there is no need to panic,'' Sinha told mediapersons in New Delhi.

The IAF shot down Pakistani martime plane yesterday in Gujarat.

Today, the stock markets and the forex markets witnessed volatile trading in the wake of the ominous Indo-Pak skirmish.
