It was bound to happen! After all the hue and cry over India's [ Images ] dismal performance against Bangladesh, Indian batsmen just bludgeoned the hopeless Bermuda bowling attack posting a mammoth 413 for five in allotted 50 overs - their highest ever total in the one-day internationals.

India's previous highest was 376 for two against New Zealand [ Images ] at Hyderabad in 1995-96.

All Indian batsmen with the exception of Robin Uthappa [ Images ] hit at least one six. In all, 18 sixes were hit in Indian innings, which equals the existing world record of most sixes in a team's innings. Interestingly the world record was established by South Africa just a few days back in this World Cup.
