Coalition warplanes dropped six precision-guided bombs early Friday on a building in Ramadi, about 88 km west of Baghdad, where President Saddam Hussein's half-brother Barzan Ibrahim Hasan al-Tikriti, was believed to be living, CNN quoted the US Central Command as saying.
Agencies reported that he was killed.
Tikriti was the chief of the Iraqi secret police in the early 1980s.
