Suspects carried Saudi passports: TV

The United Arab Emirates state TV reported on Wednesday that two men identified by the United States as possible suspects in the terrorist attacks were carrying Saudi passports

The two men, named as Wa'el Mohammad al-Shihri and Ahmad Ibrahim Ali al-Hazzouni, carried international driving licenses issued by the UAE.

They had also hired the car, which was seized at the Logan airport in Boston, from where the two aircraft that smashed into the World Trade Centre's twin towers took off.
