Pakistanis set off to fight US

At least 50 trained fighters from Pakistan's Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party have left for Quetta after a public pledge to take on the US, reports SADA news agency.

They swore on Wednesday that they would 'fight the US until their last drop of blood for enforcing the system of Allah on Earth', party leaders said.

The fighters also pledged allegiance to Taleban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar and Saudi exile Osama bin Laden, who Washington says is the prime suspect in the September 11 terror attacks in the US.

Pakistan's politico-religious groups are bitterly opposed to Islamabad's support to the US in its war against Afghanistan.
