Manchester City have agreed an undisclosed fee with Chelsea for left back Wayne Bridge, manager Mark Hughes said on Friday.

Bridge will travel to Manchester later on Friday.

"We need to speak to the boy and try to agree personal terms," Hughes told www.mcfc.co.uk.

"Wayne will probably travel to Manchester this evening and hopefully negotiations will go well and he can have a medical tomorrow."

Bridge, who has 32 England caps, joined Chelsea from Southampton for seven million pounds ($10.10 million) in 2003 but has struggled to hold down a regular first-team place since the arrival of Ashley Cole from Arsenal in 2006.
