National squash champion Saurav Ghosal toppled fifth seed Amr Swelim of Egypt to enter the final of the US $ 15,000 Ornano International Open in Bordeaux on Saturday.
The fifth-seeded Indian came from behind to beat top seed Renan Lavigne 7-11, 15-13, 11-5, 11-5 in the quarter-final and then quelled the challenge of Swelim 10-12, 11-2, 11-2, 3-11, 14-12 in the semi-finals.
The 22-year-old will play Italian third seed Davide Bianchetti, who outplayed eighth seed Bradley Hindle from Australia 11-8, 11-9, 11-4 in the other semi-final.
Bianchetti had ended the challenge of seventh seed Ritwik Bhattacharya 11-8, 11-3, 11-8 in the quarter-final match.
This will be Ghosal's sixth appearance in a PSA Tour final while world No 30 Bianchetti will play his 18th Tour final.
