Leander Paes rode back into the top 10 in the men's doubles ranking, in the latest ATP rankings, on the back of a stupendous show at the US Open.
The Indian veteran won the mixed doubles title, with Zimbabwe's Cara Black, and finished runners-up in men's doubles.
Paes, with 2860 points in his kitty, jumped from 16 to number eight in the charts.
Paes's estranged partner Mahesh Bhupathi also gained one place to be 11th with 2680 points.
Rohan Bopanna's doubles ranking though suffered as he lost 10 places to slip out of top 50 and is ranked 56th with 1041 points.
