Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and Mark Knowles [ Images ] won the euro 891,000 ATP Swiss Indoor tournament in Basel on Sunday, beating Christopher Kas and Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany [ Images ].

The Indo-Bahamas duo, currently No. 3 in the Stanford ATP Doubles Race and seeded second, won 6-3, 6-3. 

Bhupathi and Knowles improved their track record this season to 36-16. The duo also won ATP titles at Memphis and Dubai [ Images ] from as many as six finals before their triumph here.

They had earlier cruised into the final, defeating Argentine pair Jose Acasuso and Agustin Calleri in straight sets 7-5, 6-2 in an hour and 17 minutes. 

The German duo had upset David Nalbandian [ Images ] and Eduardo Schwank [ Images ] of Argentina in the semi-finals on Saturday.
