Somdev Devvarman and Nathan Healy halted giant-killers Brian and Dan Battiston's run to storm into the final of the US $ 50,000 Calabasas Challenger in California.
Somdev and his Australian partner, who had entered the main draw of the doubles event as qualifier, beat the American pair 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 in the semi-finals.
The Batistton twins had stunned top seeds Rajeev Ram and John Isner in the first round.
Somdev and Healy will take on the second-seeded Serbian pairing of Llia Bozoljac and Dusan Vemic in the final.
India's campaign had ended in the singles with the defeat of Prakash Amritraj in the quarter-finals after Somdev had crashed out in the first round.
