Leander Paes and Tommy Robredo bowed out of the Hamburg Masters as they lost 6-3, 3-6, 10-2 to second seeds Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor in the semi-final on Saturday.
In a repeat of last week's Rome Masters final, the Serbian-Canadian duo will look to avenge their defeat against Americans Bob and Mike Bryan on Sunday.
Currently fifth in the Stanford ATP Doubles Race, they are searching for their first title together since winning in St. Petersburg in October last year.
The Bryan twins overcame American pair James Blake and Mardy Fish 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 in the other semi-final.
