Jeev Milkha Singh continued to make upward strides on the Japan Tour, carding a three-under 67 to be tied for the fourth spot after the second round of the 120 million Yen Crowns Tournament at the Nagoya Golf Club Wago CourseĀ in Nagoya on Friday.
The seasoned pro, who was tied ninth overnight, is just one shot off the pace of leaders Ryoken Kawagishi (65), Steven Conran (66) and Satoru Hirota (66) with a total of six-under 135.
Jeev started off with a birdie but a couple of bogeys -- on the third and sixth holes -- meant that he took the turn one-over.
But the Indian wiped out the deficit with a flawless back nine that included four birdies -- on the 11th, 12th, 14th and 15th to round off a fine performance.
