Monfils pulls out of Wimbledon

Frenchman Gael Monfils has withdrawn from Wimbledon [ Images ] with a shoulder injury, tournament organisers said on Monday.
The 30th seed, who earlier this month reached the semi-finals at the French Open [ Images ] where he lost to Roger Federer [ Images ], will be replaced by Ilia Bozoljac of Serbia.
Monfils was due to play Australian Chris Guccione on Monday and would have been a likely third-round opponent for five-times champion Federer.
