The sports coat in 2006, the classical trousers last year, and defending champions Roger Federer [ Images ] came out on Centre Court wearing a cream sweater for his first round match against Dominik Hrbaty on a sunny Monday.

Federer will become the first man in the Open era to win the Wimbledon [ Images ] title six years in a row if he succeeds at the AELTC this time.

But With Rafael Nadal [ Images ] closing in and Novak Djokovic [ Images ] growing in stature, Federer's title claims have weakened, so much so that Bjorn Borg [ Images ], the only other man to hold five successive Wimbledons, has placed him as the third favourite to win.

Federer has a 59 match winning streak on grass going into the Grand Slam.
