Warring partners Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have been seeded second at the Ordina Open tennis tournament in Rosmalen, where they take court to prepare for the forthcoming Beijing Olympics.
The Indian Express is up against the unseeded pair of Switzerland's Yves Allegro and Argentine Sebastian Prieto in the first round of the grass court event, which is also a warm event for the Wimbledon Championships.
Earlier this month, Paes and Bhupathi had agreed to set aside their differences and team up for the Beijing Olympics.
Winners of three Grand Slam titles together, the pair looked unlikely to team up in Beijing after Bhupathi refused to play with Paes, who had declined to play tournaments with him in the build-up.
However, All India Tennis Association (AITA) secretary Anil Khanna met both players on Monday in Paris on the sidelines of the French Open and persuaded them to come together again.
Another Indian in the fray is Rohan Bopanna who has paired up with Sweden's Robert Lindstedt. They have been seeded fourth and will face Argentine pair of Guillermo Canas and Juan Martin Del Potro in their opening match.
In the women's singles event at the same venue, India' Sania Mirza has a tough first round opponent in fifth seed Flavia Pennetta of Italy. Sania will not take part in the doubles competition.
