Venus and Serena Williams enter the women's Wimbledon quarter-finals on Tuesday with even their next opponents conceding they are strong favourites for another final appearance.

Defending champion Venus faces Tamarine Tanasurgan and the unseeded Thai, who defeated second seed Jelena Jankovic to reach her first grand slam quarter-final, is not brimming with confidence.

"I play her many times and she has kicked my butt," Tamarine told reporters.

"No pressure for me at all for me. I will just go out there and have fun and do my best," she added.

Sixth seed Serena, who won the Wimbledon title in 2002 and 2003, faces Polish teenager Agnieszka Radwanska who will also make her first quarter-final appearance at the grasscourt championships.

"She is the favourite. But sometimes it is very hard. If she's playing very well, it's hard to do anything. You're just losing, losing till the end," the 14th seed told reporters.

In the other ties, China's Zheng Jie, who knocked out top seed Ana Ivanovic, faces another tough test in the form of Czech 18th seed Nicole Vaidisova.

Vaidisova, the 2007 Australian Open semi-finalist, recorded an impressive fourth round victory over eighth seed Ana Chakvetadze on Monday.

The other tie pits Elena Dementieva, at five the highest seed left in the tournament, against fellow Russian and twice French Open semi-finalist, Nadia Petrova.
