India's Surinder Singh pipped Finnish rival Jitsi Utiranen in thrilling fashion to win the 21-km race at the Mumbai Marathon in Mumbai on Sunday.
Surinder edged out the Finn to finish the exciting race in one hour, five minutes and 39 seconds -- 0.14 seconds ahead of Utiranen.
Fellow Indian, Santosh Kumar, came third in one hour, six minutes and 12 seconds.
Kavita Raut headed an Indian clean sweep of the corresponding women's half marathon after warding off a stiff fight from compatriot Praia Sridhar.
A fraction of a second separated the two women with both being officially clocked one hour, 16 minutes and 32 seconds. Preeti Rao ended third.

Men: 1. Surinder Singh (Ind) 1 hour, 5 minutes, 39 seconds, 2. Jutsi Utiranen (Fin) 1:05.53, 3. Santosh Kumar (Ind) 1:06.12.
Women: 1. Kavita Raut (Ind) 1 hour, 16 minutes, 32 seconds, 2. Preeja Sreedharan (Ind) 1:16.32, 3. Preeti Rao (Ind) 1:19.21.
