Eleni Daniilidou of Greece won the Hobart International on Friday after her opponent, Russian Vera Zvonareva, withdrew from the final because of an injury.

Zvonareva rolled her left ankle while practicing before the match and was forced to pull out.

She plans to travel to Melbourne on Sunday for scans before deciding whether she will play in the Australian Open, which starts on Monday.

The walkover provided Daniilidou with her fifth career WTA title and her first since she won at Seoul in 2006.

Eleni's high five:
2002 - 's-Hertogenbosch
2003 - Auckland
2004 - Auckland
2006 - Seoul
2008 - Hobart
