World number one Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia raced to a 21-8, 21-16 win over Denmark's Peter Gade to clinch the men's singles title at the $500,000 World Super Series Masters Finals on Sunday.
The Olympic silver medallist overcome Gade with nimble footwork and delicate flicks to keep the fourth seed on the back foot throughout the lopsided, 33-minute match in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
"This is a very satisfying win. My next target is to win the All England Open," Lee told reporters.
World number one Zhou Mi of Hong Kong beat compatriot Wang Chen 21-14, 21-18 to win the women's singles final. Wang Chen had beaten Indian ace Saina Nehwal in the semi-finals.
