Grappler Rajiv Tomar qualifies for Olympics

Rajiv Tomar became the third Indian grappler to qualify for the Beijing [ Images ] Olympics [ Images ] during a qualification tournament in Martigny, Switzerland [ Images ].

The India [ Images ]n won silver in the 120 kg freestyle category in the event, held from April 18 to 20, and joined two other compatriots in the quadrennial mega extravaganza, a Wrestling Federation of India statement said.

Sushil Kumar [ Images ] (66 kg freestyle) and Yogeshwar Dutt (60 kg freestyle) are the other two to have qualified for the Olympics.

While Sushil had booked a ticket for Beijing in the World championship in Baku (Azerbaijan) in September 2007, Dutt made the cut in the Asian Championship in Jeju City, South Korea, last month.
