A man pleaded guilty in a London [ Images ] court on Wednesday to attacking Alex Ferguson [ Images ], manager of Manchester United [ Images ] football club.
Kevin Reynolds, 43, said he had assaulted Ferguson at London's Euston railway station on Monday, causing minor injuries to his leg. He also admitted to head-butting a community police officer who was trying to restrain him.
The magistrate described Reynolds as a violent drunk. Reynolds pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm, assault and two public order offences.
He remained in custody and will be sentenced later.
