India had a mixed opening day at USD 10,000 ITF tennis event in Lahore as National Champion Ashutosh Singh was stunned in the first round even as three other Indian players made the second round.
Sixth-seed Singh, who looked impressive in home ITF events, lost 4-6, 6-7 (2) to unseeded Korean Hyun-Soo Lim on Monday.
Fourth seed Divij Sharan pipped American George Barth 6-4, 6-4 to advance into the second round while Ashwin Vijayragavan got past Bo-Sung Kim of Korea 6-4, 6-2.
Yannick Nelord also secured a second round berth as his Pakistani opponent Shahzad Khan retired when scores were level 1-1 in the first set.
