Leander Paes and Martin Damm stormed into the semi-finals of the Rome Masters with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Romanian Andrei Pavel and his German partner Alexander Waske on Friday.
The third seeded Indo-Czech pair will take on the sixth seeded French-Serbian duo of Fabrice Santoro and Nenad Zimonjic.
In a lop-sided encounter, Paes and Damm hardly put a foot wrong against their eighth seeded opponents, holding serve throughout and breaking thrice to wrap the match in a little over an hour.
It was Paes and Damm's first match in the tournament, having got walkovers in the firstĀ and second rounds.
