Leander Paes and Martin Damm upset top seeds Jonas Bjorkman of Sweden and Max Mirnyi of Belarus to march into the semi-finals of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami on Wednesday.
The sixth seeded Indo-Czech pair beat Bjorkman-Mirnyi, who were bidding for a hat-trick of titles in Miami, 7-6, 6-3 in a quarter-final match that lasted 99 minutes.
Paes and Damm, who won the Indian Wells title last week, notched their eighth successive victory in the process.
They will take on Frenchmen Michael Llodra and Arnaud Clement for a place in the final.
Llodra-Clement overcame third seeds Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor 3-6, 6-1, 10-5.
The US Open champions are second in the ATP Doubles Race, behind Mike and Bob Bryan.
