Top seed Karan Rastogi stormed into the pre-quarter-finals of the ITF Futures Tennis Tournament with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Britain's Robert Searle in Dehradun on Tuesday.
Second seed Vivek Shokeen also entered the pre-quarters with an easy 6-1, 6-0 victory over wild card compatriot Siddharth Raj.
Fourth seed Prakash Amritraj also recorded a straight set victory over Mithun Murali to move into the next level. Amritraj won 6-4, 6-2.
However, in a major upset, sixth seed Navdeep Singh was ousted from the US $10,000 tournament after a 6-3, 6-7(3), 2-6 loss to Uzbek Sarvar Ikramov.
