Rohan Bopanna and Prakash Amritraj crashed out in their respective men's singles semi-final matches at ATP Challenger Series tournaments being simultaneously played in England and the United States.
Seventh seed Bopanna's fine run was cut short by unseeded Harel Levy of Isreal, who pulled off 7-5, 6-4 victory to enter the final of the US $25,000 ATP Challenger in Manchester, England, on Sunday.
Bopanna had on Saturday shocked second seed Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi to reach the semi-finals of the tournament being played on grass courts.
The 27-year-old, partnering Qureshi, will now fight for the doubles title for which they will take on the Dutch-Swedish duo of Jesse Huta Galung and Michael Ryderstedt.
Wildcard Amritraj lost to Donald Young of America 5-7, 1-6 on the hard courts at the US $75,000 Comerica Challenger in Aptos, California, late on Saturday.
Amritraj had shocked fifth seed Brunc Echagaray of Mexico in the previous round.
