Two-time National Football League winners Subhas Bhowmick (East Bengal), Subroto Bhattacharya (formerly with Mohun Bagan) and Armando Colaco (Dempo) have been named among the five all-time best coaches of the National Football League from 1996-2007. The trio is mentioned in the honours list of 'Master Tacticians' along with Sukhwinder Singh [ Images ] and Derrick Pereira in the I-League Special Issue brought out by the All Sports Magazine in December 2007.

The 40-page special issue (in the 120-page magazine) is packed with interesting features on the history of the NFL, the effects of the NFL on the Kolkata [ Images ] clubs and an exclusive interview with India's [ Images ] football icon, Baichung Bhutia, with contributions from some of the best football writers in the country. In addition, there are statistics and charts, past NFL tables, analyses, line-ups, pictures and interviews with coaches of all the 10 teams taking part in the 2007-08 I-League.
