Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and new partner Jamie Murray of Scotland survived a tough first round to set up a Thursday night center court showdown with Bob and Mike Bryan [ Images ] at the Cincinnati Masters.

Bhupathi-Murray scraped through to a 7-6(1), 6-7(5), 10-3 win over Argentine Juan Monaco and Todd Perry of Australia [ Images ] on Wednesday.

The Indian had last week teamed with Czech Pavel Vizner to take out the Bryans in the Rogers Masters semifinals after saving two match points.

The Bryans had received a first round bye for the tournament.
