Even age, it seems, cannot stop Leander Paes.
At 33, when everyone was convinced that his best was behind him, India's tennis ace won the US Open men's doubles title, his first Gland Slam victory since 2003, defeating second-seeds Jonas Bjorkmann and Max Mirnyi.
His partner this time was Martin Damm, with who he has completed one year and with who he had reached the Australian Open final earlier this year.
The key to his success with Damm was communication, Paes said after the remarkable win on Sunday, his fourth men's doubles crown and seventh overall.
Wish Leander Paes, Indian tennis's never-say-die man, on his remarkable achievement!
