India maintained their winning streak by mauling minnows Czech Republic 12-0 in their second outing of the under-21 invitation hockey tournament at Gniezn, Poland, on Tuesday.

The match turned out to be a one-sided affair with the Indians having the ball control most of time and launching ceaseless attacks on the Czech citadel.

Raghunath, V Raja, Gurwinder Singh Chandi and Roshan Minz struck two goals each while Yoga Singh, Vikramjit Singh, Vickram Kanth and Baljinder Singh contributed one each in the onslaught over the Europeans.

Raghunath, the hero of India's 4-0 win over Pakistan on Monday, drew first blood by converting a penalty corner in the ninth minute.

Then goals rained from the sticks of Indian players, who led the proceedings 6-0 at half-time.

The Asian giants converted four of the 15 penalty corners they got in the match. Apart from Raghunath, Vikramjit and Baljinder were the other players who shot from penalty corners.

India are leading the table with six points. They have scored 16 goals while conceding none.

India next play Russia on Thursday.
