Delhi Games may have new sports

Archery, tennis, and snooker and billiards are under consideration for inclusion in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.

Organisers are still working on the programme for 2010 but confirmed that the inclusion of the three sports was being discussed.

Commonwealth Games officials also confirmed that the Scottish city of Glasgow, the Nigerian capital Abuja and the Canadian city of Halifax had all lodged bids to stage the 2014 Games.

A decision on where the Games will be held will be announced in October 2007.
