Yemen rout India

India lost 0-3 to Yemen in their second match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifying football tournament, in Delhi [ Images ], on Wednesday.

It was India's second straight loss after the 6-0 drubbing from Japan [ Images ] in the first match in Yokohoma last month.

Yemen tasted their first victory in the tournament.

Salem Saeed opened the scoring in the third minute and though the Indians did well to contain the visitors for the remainder of the first session, they were a truly beaten side after conceding two more goals early in the second half.

Fekri al-Hubaishi doubled Yemen's lead in the 44th minute and Ali al-nono put the issue beyond doubt with a goal in the 50th.
