Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf says he is impressed by the Latino style football that Brazil and Argentina have displayed in the World Cup at Germany.
"I am very impressed by the Brazilian and Argentinean football teams. I particularly like the South American teams and I am very impressed by the way they play," Musharraf said in an interview to Al-Arabiya TV.
Musharraf, a sports buff and an avid fan of cricket, admitted that he was managing to take time out to watch the world cup matches and preferred the South Americans' short-pass game to the European long-pass.
"Both [Brazil and Argentina] had excellent short-games and worked on shorter passes."
Musharraf, early this year, flew to Lahore to watch the key India-Pakistan one-day cricket match and patted the man-of-the-match Mahendra Singh Dhoni by paying a rich complement to his hairstyle and advised him to maintain it.
