Sania Mirza's French Open challenge came to an end on Tuesday after a straight-set loss in the women's doubles quarter-finals at Roland Garros.
Sania and Janette Husarova of Slovakia lost to Eleni Daniilidou of Greece and Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-0, 6-4.
The 19-year old Indian had earlier lost in the first round of the women's singles and mixed doubles.
Meanwhile, there was disappointment for Indian fans in the junior section as well with Sanam Singh and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan losing their boys' doubles first round match.
Sanam and Jeevan, seeded seventh, went down guns blazing 7-6(2), 6-4 against the Croatian pair of Nikola Mektic and Vedran Siljegovic.
