Forwards Saleem Khalid and Akhtar Ali were recalled to Pakistani squad for this month's Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Kuala Lumpur.
However, uncertainties prevailed over the availability of unfit skipper Muhammed Saqlain and midfielder Ghazanfar Ali even though both of them were included in the squad.
Both the midfielders have been unable to begin proper training at the camp. Half-backs Imran Khan and M Javed were kept as reserves in case Saqlain and Ghazanfar fail to regain full fitness, The News reported on Saturday.
The squad is a mix of experienced and young players.

Reserves: Muhammad Zubair, Mustansar Shaikh, Naeem Akbar, Yasir Islam, Shabbir Khan.
