Saina Nehwal started her campaign in the Asian Junior badminton championships with a victory over Guerrero Raquel of the Philippines in the second round singles event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The sixteen-year-old Indian ace, seeded second, won 21-2, 21-8 and moved into the third round, where she meets China's Wen Cheng.
Saina, who rose to stardom after a historic Philippines Open triumph laast month, had got a bye in the first round.
