The All India Football Federation on Sunday cancelled Fransa Pax's matches against Sporting Clube de Goa, and Salgaocar, scheduled to be held on February 6 and 9 respectively, in the ongoing ONGC National Football League.
This was announced by Goa Football Association secretary Savio Messias.
The cancellation is a sequel to Fransa Pax failing to turn up for the match against Air India on Friday, thus putting Zee Television and GFA in financial losses besides keeping fans in suspense.
With the AIFF's refusal of Fransa's demand to reschedule their matches, pending the disciplinary committee decision on their protest against referee Bikramjit's dubious decision in awarding two penalties against Mahindra United match on January 30, Fransa refused to play against Air India on February 3.
Meanwhile, Messias will be attending the AIFF emergency committee meeting in Delhi on February 7 as a special invitee, to decide the fate of Fransa Pax.
