Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was fined 10,000 pounds ($19,660), severely censured and warned to his future conduct by the FA on Thursday following his touchline bust-up with former West Ham United manger Alan Pardew last month.
Wenger admitted an FA charge of improper conduct for his "aggressive and confrontational behaviour" after the two coaches had to be restrained as Wenger reacted furiously to Pardew's celebration of a late Marlon Harewood goal that gave his team a 1-0 win in the Upton Park match on November 5.
Pardew, who was sacked by West Ham earlier this week, was charged over the same incident but denied the charge and has requested a personal hearing of the FA's disciplinary commission.
