India beat Argentina 3-2 in their third and last match of the four-nation hockey tournament in Monchengladbach, Germany on Monday.
Sandeep Singh (11th minute), Rajpal Singh (18th and 25th) put India 3-0 ahead in the first half.
Paulon Ezequiel (61st) and Tomas Mac Cormick (66th) reduced the margin to give Argentina some hope. However, India held on in the final few minutes to emerge victorious.
This was India's first victory in the tournament, having lost to Germany and Spain respectively in their first two matches.
