British number one Andy Murray was fined $2,500 on Sunday following his foul-mouthed outburst after Saturday's doubles defeat by Serbia & Montenegro in the Davis Cup.
The 18-year-old Scot let rip at chair umpire Adel Aref and refused to shake hands with the Tunisian official after he and Greg Rusedski lost 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to Ilija Bozoljac and Nenad Zimonjic to fall 2-1 behind in the Europe-Africa zone second round tie.
Murray said later he was unhappy about a line call at the start of the fourth set.
A spokeswoman for tennis's ruling body, the ITF, confirmed on Sunday that Murray had been fined for unsportsmanlike conduct.
On Sunday Novak Djokovic beat Rusedski in four sets to give Serbia & Montenegro an unassailable 3-1 lead in Glasgow, consigning Britain to a playoff to avoid falling into the third tier of the competition.
